Footsteps™ off-the-shelf inserts were developed to bridge the technological gap between currently available pre-fabricated insoles and custom foot orthotics. The firm XPE orthotic base was anatomically designed to stabilize and support the foot while allowing for full foot function and adaptation throughout all phases of normal gait. Current OTS products provide only arch “cushioning” or rigid arch support with no stabilization. By incorporating a Poron topcover onto the XPE base Footsteps™ insoles also provide unmatched shock absorption and impact protection.

The biomechanically designed Footsteps™ provide a deep heel cup along with neutral heel posting, support to the medial longitudinal arch and the lateral arch. This engineering allows for proper foot control and function throughout the entire gait cycle. With this control, Footsteps™ help in the repetitive stresses that are a causative factor in many of today’s overuse injuries such as Plantar Fasciitis, Shin Splints, Posterior Tibial Tendonitis, Peroneal Tendonitis, Achilles Tendonitis and Retrocalcaneal Bursitis.

Athletic Version - suitable for most athletic type shoes and/or shoes with a removable insert.

Dress Version - suitable for most types of dress shoes.  3/4 length allows for more room room in the toe box.

Accomodative/Diabetic - athletic cut with a plastazote topcover for a softer interface with "at risk" feet.
